In this post, I’m breaking down some of the best interior design and furniture markets across America. These take place annually, organized by season so you can start planning your design travel calendar.
January — Las Vegas Market

Las Vegas, Nevada
Held twice a year, typically in January and July, Las Vegas Market is one of the major home furnishings markets in the Western United States.
The event brings thousands of exhibitors to downtown Las Vegas. With an extensive selection of furniture, home decor, accessories and furnishings for designers and other trade professionals to explore.
Of course, one of the biggest perks is the opportunity to network with fellow designers and industry professionals in a city that’s practically designed for having a good time. It is Vegas, after all!
January & July — Atlanta Market
Atlanta, Georgia
The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market takes place at AmericasMart, a massive year-round marketplace featuring products ranging from furniture and home décor to outdoor living, accessories and gifts.
The major January and July markets bring thousands of brands together, making this a great opportunity for designers to discover new vendors and products in one place. The market also includes major rug and antique offerings, giving designers plenty to explore beyond contemporary furnishings.
September — Dallas Design Week & Gift & Home Market

Dallas, Texas
The Business of Home Dallas Design Week is a 3-day event with exclusive networking, seminars, book signings, and panel discussions with top designers, plus inspiring showroom vignettes.
The Gift & Home Market is also happening at the same time. It’s where trade can source at the 200,000-plus-square-foot Interior Home + Design Center.
Winter — International Home + Housewares Show

Chicago, Illinois
The International Home + Housewares Show is a major trade-only event focused on the latest products for the home and kitchen.
With thousands of exhibitors and tens of thousands of attendees, the show allows industry professionals to discover new products, meet brands and get an early look at what’s emerging in the home goods market.
For designers interested in the intersection of interiors, technology, kitchen products and lifestyle, this can be an especially interesting event.
Winter — Las Vegas Market

Las Vegas, Nevada
Las Vegas Market returns in Winter 2027 for its second major market of the year.
The summer edition is another opportunity for designers to explore furniture, decor, accessories and furnishings while connecting with vendors and other design professionals.
July — Atlanta Market
Atlanta, Georgia
The summer edition of Atlanta Market brings thousands of brands together at AmericasMart.

April — High Point Market
Held twice a year in spring and fall, High Point Market brings thousands of exhibitors and design professionals to North Carolina. It is widely regarded as the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world.
If there’s one event that should be on an interior designer’s radar, it’s High Point Market.

It’s also one of the best places to build relationships with vendors and discover products that may not yet be widely available to the general public.
For designers, it’s an incredible opportunity to discover new furniture vendors, explore showrooms, meet manufacturers and get a firsthand look at the trends that are shaping the industry.
Fall — High Point Market
High Point, North Carolina
High Point Market returns in the fall, making it one of the industry’s most important twice-yearly events.
If you can’t make the spring market, the fall edition offers another opportunity to explore thousands of showrooms and discover new furniture, materials, accessories and design trends.
For interior designers, it’s one of those events where you can easily spend several days exploring — and still feel like you’ve only scratched the surface.
December — Design Miami

Miami, Florida
Design Miami is a little different from the traditional furniture markets on this list, its for the cool kids. Held alongside Art Basel Miami Beach, the event focuses on collectible and contemporary design. With exhibitions featuring furniture, lighting, objects and other works presented in a gallery-like setting.
The event also features design talks and programming, making it an excellent destination for designers interested in the intersection of art, architecture, collectible design and interiors.
And with Miami’s creative and social scene in full swing during Art Week, it’s definitely an event worth checking out.
